This modern office building, located at 708 Main Street in LaCrosse is ready to go for a call center or telecommunications-based business. Located in the central business district, it features 1940 square feet of open office area, 482 square feet of storage area, and a partial basement. Included in the office space is a 10.5'x 18.0' manager's office, glass-enclosed reception area, and waiting room. There is also a kitchenette, and handicap-accessible restroom. This building was formerly occupied by an SRS office and is ADA compliant. It is completely wired with T1 high-speed internet, Ethernet, multi-line telephone, and fax. Office areas are secured by a key-code entry lock (Photos below).
Telephone service is provided by AT&T (SBC). High-speed internet service (including wireless) is available through AT&T or Golden Belt Telephone. Natural gas service is provided by Kansas Gas Service. Water and sewer are provided by the City of LaCrosse. The City provides electricity through Midwest Energy of Hays along with a municipal power plant for backup providing virtually uninterrupted power service.

Located in west-central Kansas, LaCrosse (population 1400) provides a perfect environment for business and industry. U.S. Highway 183, a major north-south highway traverses Main Street. Interstate 70 is located 27 miles to the north. Highway K-96 is located four miles to the south. Major communities within a short distance include: Hays, 23 miles north; Great Bend, 30 miles southeast; and Wichita, 153 miles southeast. Click for map.
Commercial transportation is provided by two coast-to-coast trucking firms who maintain their headquarters in LaCrosse. The community is served by all major parcel services. An airport with a lighted, hard-surface runway is available near the city. LaCrosse is also located within 30 minutes of two regional commercial airports with connecting flights to Denver, Kansas City, and Wichita.
The City of LaCrosse operates under a Commission-Manager form of government with full-time office, street, water, and electrical maintenance personnel. The community has 24-hour protection from three full-time police officers, four sheriff's officers, a well-equipped local fire department, and emergency medical service.
As a place to raise a family, LaCrosse provides a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with quiet tree-lined streets, ample parks and playground areas. Educational facilities include a modern high-school and grade school with low teacher-to-student ratios. Six churches provide a variety of options for spiritual enrichment. All of the necessities are available including a grocery store, post office, variety store, restaurants, and banks. Medical services are provided by full-time physicians, dentist, chiropractor, hospital, clinic, wellness center, and pharmacy. Recreational opportunities include a new swimming pool, four museums, community festivals, and a community carnival in August. For the outdoorsman, there are fishing lakes and excellent pheasant and deer hunting in an abundance of walk-in hunting land. For water and camping enthusiasts, there are several large lakes within a short distance.
