This internship is for a current high school or university student who has career interests in museum studies, history, art, tech studies, or historic preservation.
Under the guidance of museum curatorial staff, the intern will gain valuable experience in properly cataloging and archiving museum collections.
This internship will require a self-motivated individual willing to work on their own. Intern will be supervised by museum staff.
The internship will be with the Kansas Barbed Wire Museum in La Crosse, Kansas. The museum is operated by the Kansas Barbed Wire Collectors Association.
This internship is being funded through a Humanities Kansas SHARP (Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan) grant.
